UK: Hundreds form queue outside London food bank

People were seen queuing for several hundred metres outside the London Community Kitchen food bank in Wembley, as around 60 volunteers handed them bags of fresh produce, dry food, and pre-cooked meals. “We’ve got about maybe 800 people queuing in the queue at the moment,“ said London Community Kitchen food bank volunteer Rena. “There’s a lot of poverty, people can’t afford food here at the moment.
