Following the murder taunting phone calls were received by Oceanside PD claiming a bus driver would be the next attack. For three days buses in the area are given armed escorts including the near by Camp Pendleton marine base. After nothing happens these are called off. This is quite similar to the murder of Paul Stine events which occurred on October 11, 1969 and was the final publicly claimed killing by the Zodiac killer. Zodiac then claims to target a school bus next in his letter containing the diagram of an explosive. Was Ray Davis the first victim of The Zodiac Killer? Subscribe!
