Bottlenose Dolphins Captive Selection Process Nov. 4 2020

Taiji: The pod of bottlenose dolphins that was held in the cove overnight underwent a brutal captive selection process that lasted several hours this morning, with 18 members of the pod in total taken captive. The remaining fragmented family group was driven back out to sea. These captures continue because there is still demand for captive dolphins in the world’s aquariums and marine parks.
