GoPro Traveling to and Walking in Ghost Town Gamsutl’, Dagestan, Russia | Поход в Гамсутль, Дагестан

In this video we’ll be traveling uphill to Gamsutl’, the popular Dagestani ghost village which has been uninhabited since 2015 when its last settler died. And who knows how long had he been living there all alone? Now this place stands empty on top of a mountain and gives travelers the creeps. It was a long and tiring trip up. First, we were driving all day. Then as we arrived at the place, we hired an offroad truck with a driver who was supposed to take us halfway through the way, but the car died a few minutes after the ride had started and it just wouldn’t start. So we had to walk all the way which actually wasn’t that easy sometimes. But in the end the view was truly gorgeous. Despite it was getting dark, I went for a walk around the village imagining what it had been like to live there - to wake up in the morning, open the window and see all these beautiful things around.
