KKFC has stolen a lot from KFC. The name obviously, but also the product range and branding too. So I visited KKFC in Kathmandu to see how it compares to real KFC in taste, price, and experience. Which is better? Real or counterfeit KFC?
KFC came to Nepal in 2009, and KKFC opened in 2017. KKFC stands for Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken.
KFC in Nepal is seen as a premium product, and KKFC is a cheaper alternative for budget-conscious consumers. And besides the obvious intellectual property theft, I think they’re doing a good job at providing good quality and taste for a lower price.
