Just prior to 9:30 p.m. local time, campus police on routine patrol at Morgan State University heard gunshots and promptly alerted the Baltimore Police Department. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered that five people had sustained gunshot wounds, and there was damage to several windows. Out of caution a shelter-in-place order was issued for the campus, and authorities conducted thorough searches of surrounding buildings to ensure safety. The victims’ ages range between 18 and 22 years, comprising four males and one female, all fortunately suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, no suspects have been identified or apprehended.
