Extreme weather continues to rage across Europe. On Sunday, September 11, a strong thunderstorm hit Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. The wind speed reached 75 km/h. There was a strong hum all around, like from a tornado. There was also hail in some parts of the city. The locals were very frightened by such a strong wind. The storm damaged roofs, trees and power lines. There were no reports of injuries. Zagreb is the capital and largest city of Croatia. The population is about 800,000 people. The city is located on the Sava River, a tributary of the Danube, next to the Medvednica mountain range.
