Using the envelope controller as a fader for the volume on the scratcher can give you that authentic DJ sound. I made the beat you hear with a plugin called B4 From Native Instruments (free if you know where to look), various drum packs i’ve collected over a 5 year span and a soundfont I acquired way back in the days of Fruityloops 3.5.
