‘We will strike Hamas wherever they hide’ says IDF after Hamas commander killed in Jabalia camp

A top Hamas commander who was killed in an Israeli airstrike at a refugee camp has been accused of trying to hide among civilians. Israel has confirmed it struck the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza in a bid to eliminate a “terrorist stronghold,“ in a hit that according to Hamas cost the lives of 50 people. The IDF described the explosion as a “wide-scale strike on terrorists and terror infrastructure“. It also said that the blast killed the commander of Hamas’s Central Jabaliya Battalion Ibrahim Biari, one of the Hamas leaders responsible for orchestrating the deadly October 7 attacks.
