Young & Company - I Like [What You’re Doing To Me] (1980) This funky sextet was centered around the brothers Billy, Mike and Kenneth Young from West Virginia, USA. After moving to East Orange, New Jersey, in 1970 they formed the Young Movement with Buddy ‘Hank’ Hankerson, an ex-member of Aurra (bass/keyboards/guitar) and Dave Reyes (drums). When vocalist Jackie Thomas joined in 1979 they first recorded as Young & Co. Among the first tracks theyrecorded was ‘I Like (What You’re Doing To Me’, which reputedly sold over 250, 000 in the USA, and did go all the way into the UK Top 20 in 1980.
