As promised, the reasons: Riddle – Emotionally manipulative mother anthem Ace – I couldn’t find any that suited him perfectly but this song kind of matches his energy??? It sounds like how he describes himself at least. Deuce – He’s going the distance, he’s finding his own way Cater – I personally believe that Cater is based on Cinderella, and even disregarding that, in this song the stepsisters are causing mayhem and Cindy is trying to stay zen but failing (like Cater) Trey – Chapter 1 Leona – Because in chapter 2 he decides to try one last thing and then fails. Also he’s lazy like in the song, and he trains people for spelldrive. Jack – He came to the school to learn from Leona and that’s very cute so Ruggie – Sneaky Broke/Sneaky Broke solidarity Jade – Because mushrooms = high Floyd – because he doesn’t worry and I couldn’t think of anything better Azul – Because he traps people into contracts and makes them his badaboom ‘I put a spell on you and now you’re mine’ Azul 2 – Because he put so much work into becoming a not a loser (he’s still a loser but we love him for it) Kalim – His friendship with Jamil (however one-sided) reminds me of this song Jamil – BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BE OUT THERE. HE WANTS TO BE FREE Vil – He believes in putting in the work towards his goal and does it every day, plus he was raised by his father so even better Vil 2 – This one is self-explanatory Rook – He’s very welcoming and enjoys the finer things (also French) Epel – THEY WANT A DOCILLLLLLE LAMB NO ONE KNOWS WHO I AMMMM Ortho - :( Ortho 2 – Because he wants to get out there and experience life Idia – There were no songs about being a shut-in otaku so I went with the keeper of the dead/dead brother angle Sebek – This whole song is just a simp’s ballad and if that doesn’t describe Sebby idk what does Lilia – Because…he has children? He lives in the woods? I swear I had a reason but I can’t remember it General Vanrouge – Just suits his story super well I think Silver – Because he’s often called different than everyone around him, he’s beautiful, I like the song Silver 2 – Chapter 7 :( Malleus – He’s desperately trying to convince himself he isn’t lonely but we see past it ( parallels to Silver) Malleus 2 – HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH YUU (platonic or romantic, whatever floats your boat), he’s resigned himself to being alone forever and knows he’ll probably never be loved :( [Very poorly worded but here you are.
