Being a professional dancer requires enormous mental as well as physical discipline -- especially if it’s a Michael Flatley production. Technical skill is not enough. Stage charisma is not enough. If you’re going to survive the rigors of touring life, especially during a global pandemic, you need to be *tough.* Irish dancers are already some of the toughest athletes on the planet, but life on the road requires tremendous mental fortitude -- especially during a pandemic.
