Feet of Flames Taiwan 2022: Quarantine Life

Being a professional dancer requires enormous mental as well as physical discipline -- especially if it’s a Michael Flatley production. Technical skill is not enough. Stage charisma is not enough. If you’re going to survive the rigors of touring life, especially during a global pandemic, you need to be *tough.* Irish dancers are already some of the toughest athletes on the planet, but life on the road requires tremendous mental fortitude -- especially during a pandemic. And you know what? The journey is *fun.* Yes, there are challenges. Yes, times get tough. But what’s an adventure if you don’t have stories to tell when you get home? Ask any single Team Lord dancer, past or present, and they’ll all tell you the same thing: Lord of the Dance *is* the adventure of a lifetime.
