The sun is still out so I need not fear them yet but I know that come nightfall those same, peaceful trees, will come for us again. They do not like strangers tramping through their land... My back screams at me to stop, my feet beg me to rest but I cannot.. not yet. It’s not far now.. the edge of this god’s forsaken place.
