The Hamas-controlled government’s media office has confirmed that the death toll resulting from the Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp has increased to 195. In addition to the fatalities, there are still 120 individuals unaccounted for, believed to be trapped beneath the rubble, and a further 777 have sustained injuries and undergoing treatment in Gaza Hospital. The UN children’s agency UNICEF has described attacks on the Jabalia refugee camp as “horrific and appalling.
