2005 This unique series follows Sir Ian Botham and a celebrity guest as they fly-Fish for Salmon and Trout in some of England, Scotland and Wales famous rivers. Over the years Sir Ian Botham has met many well-known celebrities from Sport, Music and Television who share his passion for angling and have become life long friends. This series includes Eric Clapton, Chris Tarrant, Gareth Edwards and Mike Atherton. Each episode not only captures the relationship between Ian and guest as they take on some of the finest fly-fishing waters for Salmon and Trout, but also has factual and anecdotal information about the river and it’s fly-fishing history. The rivers included are the Tweed, Tyne, Spey, Towy, Test and Meon.
