SpaceX test fired a Falcon Heavy rocket that will launch NASA’s Psyche mission to explore a rare metallic asteroid. Ignition for the short test firing occurred at 9 a.m. EDT (1300 UTC) on Sept. 30, 2023 at launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. Look out for a pod of dolphins in the waters of the turn basin.
