The melody is so uniquely beautiful! It left a very strong impression in my mind and I decided to give it a try on the violin! To better understand the song for arranging the violin version, I did a little research on the history of this song. Based on what I read, it was a very sad period in Kazakhstan history that mass lives were lost while people were defending their land. By retrospect we can see their bravery and resilience. This video was shot in an area in San Diego that I think slightly resembles the mountainous region in Kazakhstan.!To be honest, I had to overcome with my fear of heights. I had to stand on these uneven rocks with heels and wind pushing against me while I was balancing myself to play.
