Tracking Tropical Disturbance, Could Enter the Gulf of Mexico

A tropical wave is slowly becoming better organized as it approaches the Greater Antilles of the Caribbean. Conditions are expected to become more favorable for development as it approaches the Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas. A tropical depression could form by the weekend. The eventual track of the system will depend on when it finally comes together. If it forms late and remains weak, the system could take a more westerly track possibly into the eastern Gulf of Mexico. The majority of models favor a track up the east coast of Florida. Full Story:
