One of the most influential photographers of his generation, Stephen Shore is a pioneer in the use of color photography and was a friend of Andy Warhol. A prodigy whose images have endured, his work continues to challenge. He visited the JCCSF for a conversation with SFMOMA photographer curator Sandra Phillips around his latest collection, From Galilee to the Negev, which explores the complexities and contradictions of Israel and the Palestinian territories of the West Bank.
