Midnight Odyssey - The Tempest Entranced (Alternate Version) (2009-2012)

Twelfth track from the compilation ’Silhouettes of Stars’. Track originally recorded in 2009-10. Vocals recorded in 2012. Released as a double CD in 2017 by I, Voidhanger Records. From the Silhouettes of Stars booklet: “ ’The Tempest Entranced’ has been featured on the Aeon Odyssey split release from 2013. However this version is a different older recording. This song originally began in 2008-09, as one of the possible songs for the next album after ’The Forest Mourners’, however was dropped. New recordings were made, one to possibly be used on ’Funerals...’ but again it was dropped. From what I can gather, this version was recorded in 2009-10, as the newer version used on Aeon Odyssey was done in 2010. The vocals are the same take as the one used on Aeon Odyssey, recorded in 2012.“
