Alfred Karindi - Berceuse from Organ Sonata No 3 | VU St. John’s Church
Today I would like to share with you my rendition of one of the most famous Estonian organ pieces - the sweet and gentle Berceuse which is the 2nd movement of the dramatic Organ Sonata No. 3 (1944) by the 20th century Estonian organist and composer Alfred Karindi (1901-1969). I recorded it recently at Vilnius University St. John’s church during Ausra’s and my private recital “Baltic Reverie“ for a group of tourists from Sweden. Thanks to Ausra for turning pages for me! Hope you will enjoy it!
