He inserts the pieces of glass into a special box which is used to inspect the glass. The glass is turned and patterns are formed in polarised light. L/S of a piece of glass balanced on two blocks. James Holt (?) stands on the glass to demonstrate how tough it is. Various shots of him bouncing on the glass. M/S of a woman emerging through some white curtains - they are made from glass fibre. Narrator makes a joke about having to ask the window cleaner to wash the curtains too. Woman sits beside a groovy glass table and looks at a sample book of patterned fabric - presumably glass fibre.
