The full title reads “Nice - KING CARNIVAL - Holds his merry court again, but before sadly depleted crowd, compared with former years.“ Nice, France. A band on horseback leads carnival procession though the streets of Nice - not that many people around. Cut to a scene of the carnival with crowded streets - this is taken in 1921. Float with a large elephant passes by. Bride and groom followed by the wedding crowd - they all have huge heads - great masks. A float with a big pirate lying on top passes camera.
