Camera Interviews - Sir Harry Lauder (1926)

c 1926 Sir Harry Lauder at home near Dunoon, Scotland. (Shot missing at start.) He walks in the grounds of his large house with Lady Lauder. He wears traditional Scottish dress. They walk in their garden and Sir Harry picks a flower and pins it to his wife’s jumper. He gives her a kiss (a peck on the cheek). He leads his lady wife down a slope to the bottom of the garden where he has a well. Intertitle reads: “Mon, the water’s great - and costs nothing! Have one wi’ me -“ We see him drink from a tea cup. We see Sir Harry’s putting green with the Clyde in the background. He plays a little golf with his wife. Intertitles tell us of Sir Harry’s collection of walking sticks, the images are missing.
