Down By The Riverside (1931)

No title. A man and a woman ride on a motorised raft. They ride around a boating lake on the contraption which is rather like a jet ski. “This is a change from the land variety - (And the small boy or girl).“ Another shot of them riding the motor scooter raft. Woman in the foreground floats on the lake in a nice rubber ring with a swan’s head. “These super “water ornaments“ are becoming more popular than ever.“ M/S of a woman rowing along the lake in a dinghy. Another woman floats in a rubber ring. “And there’ll be many a sigh for this kind of dreamy punting if the sun is kind.“ M/S of a punt approaching the camera with four girls aboard. One is punting, the other three stretched out and relaxing - all in bathing suits. “But, what a waste - one punt, four girls and only one man! (Old Man River.)“ Great shot of the girls in the punt (cameraman must be in the boat with them!) as they drift lazily along the river holding branches out of their way.
