“Another fashion note - a British one. All-weather gaiters - smart, comfortable and over-the-knees -!“ reads an intertitle (presumably shots missing at the beginning). L/S of four women in the grounds of a grand house walk towards the camera. C/U of their gaiters, two lift their skirts a little higher to show them off. C/U of a pair of legs in gaiters. “These are the new “long“ styles referred to by H.M. the King, as “Looking very cosy“ M/S of woman sitting on some stone steps with her legs crossed buttoning up her gaiters with a button hook. C/U of the buttoning up process. They are very tight! The women stand on a low stone wall and slowly lift their legs to show off their gaiters. They then slowly lower their legs.
