Jumping Dogs (1929)

No title. Man lies on the ground on his back with his feet in the air. Dog stands on his hind legs balancing his front paws on the man’s feet. The dog steps onto the man’s hands with his back feet. “To ’Mickeve’ a rope is just a passing moment or two - to bite,“ said Mr Snapper, its owner.“ A rope is held out and the dog bites it. He chews it for a few seconds until it breaks. His owner stands in a field and Mickeve runs and jumps onto his back. His master gives him a piggy back. Mickeve sits up and begs then his owner throws him a ball. Mickeve does a massive leap over his master and a wall. Pretty impressive. We see this feat in slow motion. His masterpiece stunt is to jump a 9’6“ gate. We see this in real time and in slow motion. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
