Table Talk (1926)

Story about playing cards on a train. C/U of four men (all smoking) who are playing cards in a train carriage. They are using a newspaper balanced on their knees instead of a card table. The newspaper falls off their knees and they give up their game. One of the men has a novel device - a walking stick which turns into a table. An intertitle informs us: “This is the little novelty which caused the Queen so much amusement at the British Industries Fair.“ C/U of the handle of the walking stick being removed. The end of the stick is pushed and a table is opened out. The table is placed in between them and the card game recommences. Was item in Pathe Pictorial - issue number unknown.
