Gas Gun (1962)

Cricklewood, London. M/S of a man in a factory, which is British Oxygen’s Technical Division, moving a big piece of machinery, M/S as he moves a lever and puts his goggles over his eyes, he looks down. The machine is a gas gun which can be used to cut through sheets of steel, and works by using a mixture of oxygen and propane. M/S as the camera moves down to a man wearing a welding mask, he lights the gas gun with a flame at the end of a long stick and stands back. C/U of the white hot flame coming out of the bottom of the machine. C/U of the man wearing the goggles, M/S of the gas gun cutting through the steel. C/U of the man in the welding mask, he signals upwards. C/U of the gas gun with sparks flying off it as it cuts through the steel. M/S of the man in goggles working the gun.
