Grace & Rhythm - Andree & Curtis The International Dancers (1930)

Andree and Curtis perform an exhibition dance in the Pathe studio. It is a ballroom style dance with some acrobatics thrown in. Throws, lifts, spins etc. The man wears tails, the woman a floaty ballgown. Curtis holds Andree up in the air by one leg and she leans over backwards. She then hooks her foot behind his head and he turns around supporting her weight. They spin around the studio together. Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 470.
