Full title reads: “Beauvais. ’s first anniversary. Memory of her gallant dead honoured in touching simple service on field where she fell.“ Beauvais, France. Floral wreaths are carried at head of small procession of local dignitaries across field where the R-101 airship met its fateful end. A small crowd of people line the route. Wreaths are placed at a small memorial which is draped with French tricolour and British Union Jack flags. Representatives of the RAF (Royal Air Force) place wreaths and salute.
