Full title reads: “Lindbergh Baby Case . Scenes at Hauptmann’s Trial at Flemington. N.J.“. Flemington, New Jersey, United States of America (USA). Trial is that of Richard Bruno Hauptmann, accused of abduction and murder of aviator Charles Lindbergh’s baby son. Various shots of crowds gathering outside courthouse. Amongst the crowds are paparazzi - newspaper men, photographers, newsreel cameramen. C/U of man - probably Mr. O’Reilly, Defence Council. C/U of another man - probably Mr. Justice Trenchard - judge at trial. C/U of judge’s hammer hitting bench. Panning shot of crowded courtroom.
