Eve (1922)

This is a story about very overweight women. The first intertitle describes the woman as “...the temptress...“ M/S of a very large woman picking fruit from a tree. She takes a bite of the fruit and smiles at the camera. Intertitle reads: “Twelve inches - one foot — Five Eves - one ton —“ C/U of the fat lady’s ankles. Some children sit around her. The camera pans up. The woman is handing out flowers and laughing. “- but she stands no nonsense - “ The woman stands over a tin bath and washes one of her children. She tips the boy in head first to wash his face and hair. “Underneath the next picture is a pram.“ The children push their mother along in a pram. They are in a garden and she is flashing off her bloomers and stocking tops. She laughs uproariously, coming very close to the camera.
