France’s “Old Crocks“ On Parade (1932)

Full title reads: “Paris. France’s ’Old Crocks’ on Parade. Boulevards packed to see ’cavalcade’ of ancient vehicles through heart of Capital.“ Paris, France. A military band on horseback leads a parade through Paris demonstrating how transport has changed through the ages. First comes a horse carried sedan chair. Then various horse drawn carriages and wagons. One carriage carries unidentified VIPs. Crowds are lining the street to watch the parade. High angle shot of the carriage - it appears to be someone dressed up as a figure from French history. Next come a series of horse drawn buses and stage coaches. People travelling on these vehicles are all dressed in period costume. Next come a series of early motor cars. Some of them don’t look terribly efficient.
