Full title reads: “LORD READING - installed Lord Warden & Admiral of the Cinque Ports at Dover.“ Dover, Kent. Procession of dignitaries, mayors and men in academic robes, leaving the Castle Keep to attend the special service at church of St Mary in the Castle. Mounted military orchestra riding through crowded streets of Dover. An open car with Lord Reading (Sir Gerald Rufus Isaacs) and wife drive through crowded streets. Procession walking through the streets, going to Dover College Close where a meeting of the Grand C court of Shepway is held to install Lord Reading as Lord Warden and Admiral of the Cinque Ports. Lord Reading inspecting the Guard of Honour. Britain’s Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald and Archbishop of Canterbury walking along the street after the ceremony.
