Inheriting the impressive synth engines of their flagship MONTAGE series, Yamaha has introduced the new MODX synthesizer in three distinct models: Yamaha MODX6 Synthesizer, Yamaha MODX 7 Synthesizer and Yamaha MODX8 Synthesizer. Offered in a lightweight and compact package, the MODX keyboards feature the MONTAGE’s sound generation engines: AWM2 and FM-X. MODX also features their proprietary Motion Control technology, controllable via the Super Knob, as originally found on MONTAGE. It also features 192-note total polyphony, with 128-note stereo AWM2 and 64-note FM-X.
