#36 Hard to be a Halfling
This is one of my own compositions, the direct result of a song writing seminar.
Idea from Stu barrow.
It’s not deep, but I did like how it came out.
[Verse 1]
Am C
It’s oh so very hard to be a halfling
G F Am
It implies I’m somehow something less than you
C
I’d rather like it if you called me hobbit
F E
But the estate of JRR would surely sue.
[Chorus]
F G
All the tables and the chairs are at the wrong height
C Am
And we’re never served with breakfast 2 or 3
F C
The clothes I buy are always made for children
G Am
It’s a hard hard life for poor little me.
[Verse 2]
