Jake Tapper was Surprised to Discover Frank Sinatra’s Civil Rights Activism
In Jake Tapper’s new novel, “The Devil May Dance,” Frank Sinatra plays a huge role in the story. He told Ellen the most surprising thing he learned about the music icon was that he was a progressive Civil Rights activist throughout the 1940s, ‘50s, and ‘60s, publicly and privately fighting for equality and integration in a number of hotels and venues. The CNN anchor also talked about the importance of people getting vaccinated, what he thinks about the emergence of UFO sightings, and what he watches in his downtime to get away from all the news.
