Remnant 2 Review - The Final Verdict

Remnant 2 is the sequel to Gunfire Games’ breakout third-person shooter Souls-like, offering new worlds to explore, enemies to fight, and mysteries to solve. The gameplay will feel familiar for those who enjoyed the first game’s combat and pacing. However, everything has been expanded significantly, with Archetypes providing more build variety, several new weapons, Mutators replacing armor set bonuses, and more. Even the world generation is heavily improved, presenting brand-new areas, and quests as you return for subsequent runs. Remnant 2 isn’t a reinvention of the genre so much as providing more that fans love. However, it’s still an incredibly compelling package worth playing when it releases on July 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
