Join me for a walk as we explore the life of a hidden seaside slum in Brgy. San Rafael III located in Noveleta, Cavite, Philippines. I took a walk in this wonderful community and saw things I wish I hadn’t, but this is reality. This would have been a lovely spot to visit, but there was too much garbage. I was surprised to discover how difficult the situation was for the folks that live here. I’m hoping that the local authorities will join together and organize an immediate clean-up push to undertake some cleanups. Coastal risks, particularly floods and storm surges, are becoming a serious issue in this coastal region of Cavite.
