Culture in Change - Akha People of Northern Laos

Never has the choice been so drastic for the Akha People of northern Laos. For centuries they preserved their culture in remote mountain villages. Now the pressures of modern civilization are closing in. More and more abandon their traditional way of life and settle in the lowlands.
