Train Cab Ride NL / Cross Country / Amsterdam - Almere - Leeuwarden / ICM Intercity / October 2021

Hi everyone! It’s been two weeks since the last video. Time for a new one. This time a extra long video. Due to construction works between Amersfoort and Zwolle trains were diverted. Creating a direct intercity between Amsterdam Central Station and Leeuwarden. I got to drive this train last weekend. I hope you enjoy the ride! 0:00 Amsterdam Centraal We start the ride at Amsterdam Central Station. We had just arrived with this train coming from shunting yard Watergraafsmeer. After that I split up the train and now we take three carriages of ICM with us to Leeuwarden for an early Sunday morning ride. 4:01 Dijksgracht As you can see the Dijksgracht has changed a lot since the last video that took us past there. All trains have been taken away and the tracks have been demolished to make room for new tracks in the near future. This to make trains in Amsterdam faster and more efficient. 6:02 Amsterdam Muiderpoort Watergraafsmeer After passing Muiderpoort you can see the shunting yard Watergraafsmeer on the lef
