This video is about the recent tragic incident which occured at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, as a Mbbs student , as a brother, as a junior i feel ashamed and helpless that even in this age where women all over the world are free to work ,pursue their career in every field. Here in India a doctor, a daughter was raped and murdered in the state where women have historically been considered vocal, the society of bengal had been one of the most progressive society in the past, the only state in the whole of country where a women chief minister is in power. Still incidents like these keep on tranishing the image of the state, the state where Maa Durga is worshiped every year with a lot of joy and respect. Recent updates suggest that there was a drug and prostitution racked running with the help of the college administration, as as the resident who got to know about these malpractises, her voice was shut. There has been a similar incident around 2000’s in the same hospital and last time the reason for the suicide of the student was also because of the same reason. I hope medical colleges become safe for all not just doctors, these malpractises must stop this time because history repeated itself still there has been no reform. I urge all the non medicos to actively participate in this revolution , its your time to give life to the lifesavers✊
