Incredible! Ninja rat uses kick-fighting moves to escape rattlesnake

A group of scientists have released footage capturing the incredible moves kangaroo rats use to fight rattlesnakes in their natural habitat in the Sanoran Desert of Yuma, Arizona. The high-speed video recordings prompted the scientists to call these little animals “ninja rats”. The footage proves that kangaroo rats are able to avoid venom injections, even when bitten, by using a mid-air kick to push the snake away.
