Another Jacobite song I like. Jacobitism was a movement to restore the Scottish Catholic House of Stuart to the Throne of Great Britain. This song is from the 1745 Jacobite rising, lead by Charles Edward Stuart (Charles III) for his Father James Francis Edward Stuart. The Jacobite cause was still supported by many Highland clans, both Catholic and Protestant.
