Leather Crafting Tutorial - Viking Belt

This is a pattern of the ’Megingiard’, the legendary belt of Thor that gave him twice the strength. It is designed to be very wide and be a big piece of armor. The build is straight forward and you will have measure the length for yourself, but it is always easier to cut somehting away then adding somthing. Difficulty: medium Tools needed: basic Recommended materials - 3,5 mm (9 oz) veg. tanned leather - 14 m leather straps about 5 mm (1/5 inch) wide - 2 m leather straps about 7 mm (1/4 inch) wide and thick - 4 buckles 2,5 cm (1 inch) wide - 3 O-Rings about 4 cm (1,6 inch) width Tools: edge trimmer, cutting knife, burnisher, hole punch, leather carving tools, clamps, sewing material, diamond shaped chisel, strap cutter, wing divider, glue, rivets, groove cutter This pattern: Shop: Instagram:
