Demoralized by the losses of Donetsk airport, the Ukrainian arms faced the next tragedy in Debaltsevo. The beginning of 2015 was extremely successful for our enemy. It was necessary to act. On February the tenth, 2015 the AZOV Regiment has began the offensive operation. The soldiers faced an extremely difficult mission - to fight the three fronts, involving only infantry units. Azov fighters managed to consolidate strategically important points and thus to protect Mariupol from the shelling. The fighting in the village Shyrokyne lasted for six months until taking units out from positions.
