★ 4K 🇨🇭Solothurn - Oberdorf - Moutier cab ride, Switzerland []

Welcome to another train driver’s view video into the wonderful Jura mountains of Switzerland. The section from Langendorf to Solothurn was covered in my second ever cab ride video recorded in 2014: In 2019 we also released a video in the opposite direction from Sonceboz-Sombeval to Moutier and further to Solothurn. Today’s video is the first in this direction on Youtube. The line opened in 1908 and was originally hoped to be a transit line for freight and passenger trains from France, however soon after construction started on the Moutier - Lengnau railway which made it clear that the Solothurn - Moutier line would remain a regional line.
