Lenny Bruce - Complete Live Standup (Rare, 1965)

I found this video on an old hard drive I had lying around the house, with the file name “Lenny Bruce “. It seemed to be a complete standup act, but I knew nothing else about it. Viewer Doug Piranha was the first to provide some additional information: “This seems to be the sole complete Bruce routine ever filmed, or to receive general release. [It was] presented by John Magnuson’s company [and] filmed at Basin Street West (San Francisco), cited as ’Bruce’s next-to-last performance’“ Viewer Kathryn Fauble later did some digging and identified this as “The Lenny Bruce Performance Film“ or simply “Lenny Bruce“ according to IMDB. Even though the film was released in ’67, it was recorded in August 1965.
