Royal Albatross ~ LGL Back 3 Days In A Row! Beautiful Closeups Of Tiaki’s Fluffy Down!

Tiaki is 139 days old and we can now see her starting to lose her fluffy down from the end of its adult feathers. The down actually is still attached to the adult feather that is coming in and it hangs on by wisps. Ultimately, all of this down needs to be gone so that it does not weigh her down after she fledges and her feathers get wet. LGL arrives back THREE days in a row!! WTG Mom! She walks up the hill and comes over to Tiaki and gives her a nice feeding. Today the SSTrig chick had both parents in for a feeding which is great news! Also LGK will arrive and feed Tiaki (in a subsequent video!) Thank you for watching!
